My name is Isaak Matovich — Professional Vihuelista, Multi Instrumentalist, educator, and the 2025-2026 TMEA All state vihuela player.
As a TMEA All-State clinician, musician and mentor, I've helped countless students from raw talent into chair earning musicians for years. I understand what the judges are listening for when a student enters that audition room and more than that, I know what they want to hear. All the technicalities, all the Manico patterns, shapes, all the nuances of authentic and clean mariachi style that make the difference between a first chair and the rest. That is what I have been able to learn over the years that I have seen success, I teach with precision, warmth and commitment, and the prospect that I would like to pass that on to you someday.
Alongside mariachi, I’ve studied classical violin for over six years, and that training has profoundly shaped my approach to Armonía playing. By combining authentic mariachi style with disciplined classical foundations, I teach students how to perform with confidence, refinement, and the kind of musicality that stands out in auditions and on stage alike.
Finally, I built Armonía because I believe that every student deserves to learn from the best, especially in a niche musical art form like mariachi, when elite level lessons are less common. This course is my way of leveling the playing field and giving you every tool you need to walk into that audition room ready, not just to make region, but All state too.

Armonía connect primarily focuses on preparation for Vihuela, Guitar, Guitarra de Golpe, and Guitarron for the TMEA All-State Mariachi, including a professionally recorded performance of the etude, and 4 lessons for each. Play-along tracks, and MIDI files are included for each of the instruments additionally.
When do I get access after purchasing?

Is this course updated each season?
No. When an additional season for the TMEA all state mariachi etudes is released, an additional course will be created opon the same platform.
